BROADSTAIRS Cricket Club secured a commanding victory against Leeds & Broomfield in an one-sided affair on a sweltering day, with a pitch that presented little challenge to either side.

A controlled bowling performances from Broadstairs coupled with a series of batting errors ensured the Kent League Championship game was decided well before the chase began.

Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Leeds & Broomfield faced the opening bowling partnership of Bradley Ellison and Chris Kidd. The opening duo delivered an impeccable 20-over spell, dismantling the hosts’ batting lineup with precision.
