Forest can take it all says Nuno
Irish Sunday People
|May 18, 2025
NOTTINGHAM FOREST boss Nuno Espirito Santo has cleared the air with the club's owner, Evangelos Marinakis, who he says is “pursuing his dream" of playing among the European elite.
The manager is eager to draw a line under the furore that followed their on-pitch exchange after last Sunday's draw to Leicester.
Forest have rejected suggestions it was a “confrontation” between the pair, with Marinakis frustrated by the decision to allow striker Taiwo Awoniyi to play on despite an injury that eventually required emergency surgery.
