OASIS IN DUBLIN: GALLAGHERS IN SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO CAPITAL CITY

LIAM and Noel Gallagher walked out on to a stage in Ireland for the first time in 16 years last night and said: "Oasis vibes in the area.

The rockers then belted out their classic out Hello with it's refrain, "it's good to be back".

It was an emotional night as the pair, with strong Irish roots, each paid tribute to their mum, Peggy. Liam asked for a show of hands of those from her hometown in Co Mayo before playing Roll With It.

"Anyone here from Mayo, Charlestown?" he asked, as the sold-out crowd started cheering.

"There's only about five people there, you can't all be f***ing from there.And Stand By Me had an extra special meaning now as Liam dedicated the song to Peggy, saying: "I wanna play this one to me mam, me mam's in tonight."

Just hours before Noel took to the stage, his daughter Anaïs shared a message to fans in Dublin.
