bad boy Joaquin Niemann put his Portrush tantrum behind him to take charge of the UK's LIV Golf leg in spectacular fashion yesterday.

The Chilean (above) was roundly criticised after stamping angrily on his golf bag at the end of his second round as he missed the cut by a shot last week.

He then sacked his caddie of five years, Gary Matthews, and his swing coach Eduardo Miquel, who he had worked with since turning pro at 18.
