Another victim hospitalised in second assault

A MAN has been left in a critical condition after being seriously injured in an early-morning assault yesterday.
Gardai and emergency service were called to the scene following reports of a serious assault which occurred on Abbey Street and Barrack Street in Cahir shortly after 1.40am.
The victim, a man aged in his 20s, was treated by emergency services before he was rushed to Tipperary University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
According to gardai, the young man remains in critical condition.
