DUSTIN THE TURKEY has stuck his beak into the Late Late ring declaring he'd be "well up" for the gig.

The field to host RTE's flagship chat show has been thrown wide open after both Claire Byrne and Sarah McInerney withdrew from the race earlier this week.

Ryan Tubridy will step down after 14 years at the helm later this month - and now Eurovision flop Dustin has entered the fray.
