Woman loses over €10k to fake Clooney

A HAPLESS woman was scammed out of £10,000 (€11,800) by a fake George Clooney created with AI.

The unnamed victim believed she was talking to the Hollywood actor and spoke to “him” every day for six weeks.
She discovered the account, which claimed to be the actor's, through a Facebook page.
After she engaged with the account, the woman received a message asking her if she had a Fans Club card.
