Wild winds won't stop disability activist Cara

A TEENAGE disability activist will protest outside Leinster House in strong winds for 50 hours as 18,000 children await an overdue assessment of needs.

Cara Darmody will protest from 10am today until 12pm on Thursday, despite a wind warning being in place.

The 15-year-old said with the storm blowing she will “really suffer” sleeping in a tent outside.
