'WE SHOULD NEVER HAVE MADE IT...'

THE first album to be released on their own label Big Brother Recordings - is widely regarded as their worst. Q magazine actually put it at number 46 in their list of the 50 worst albums ever made.

"We should never have made it," said Noel Gallagher in 2011. "I just wrote songs for the sake of making an album. I was at the end."

And yet, it's so poor, it was re-released 25 years later, on the back of their all-encompassing grand reunion.

Maybe a new generation will see it differently given the demand for all things Oasis in 2025.

At the turn of the new millennium, as Creation Records suddenly ended, Oasis needed a new label.

As well as the outside noise about the band, there was also plenty going on inside the camp.
