VERBRUGGEN MAKES LIGHT OF ‘DARK ARTS’ CLAIM
Irish Daily Star
|November 24, 2025
BART VERBRUGGEN denied resorting to the dark arts to help Brighton beat Brentford.
The Seagulls keeper (left) was booked for delaying Igor Thiago’s penalty in stoppage time - and then saved it to secure all three points.
Bees boss Keith Andrews complained that Verbruggen had played “mind games” with his striker, using the “dark arts”.
