Thugs are tarnishing our name

REPORTS that there has been an increase in attacks on members of the Indian community in Ireland are not accurate, gardai have claimed.

So basically, everybody just needs to calm down.

However, the force did concede there has been an increase in racially motivated attacks over the years, according to an article in the Irish Times.

Sure, if you're Indian and worried about recent events, there is no need to worry. It's just the norm - you're at no greater risk. If anything, I believe that's even more unsettling.
