Elliott primed for €120,000 Kerry windfall

GORDON Elliott can bridge an eight-year gap and claim the €120,000 first prize in today's Guinness Kerry National at Listowel.

Eliott won the big Harvest feature back to back in 2016 and 2017 and arrives in the north Kerry town today with four hopes to be saddled.

Three Card Brag is the choice of stable jockey and local boy Jack Kennedy but preference is for his stablemate SHECOULDBEANYTHING (4.23) and Jordan Gainford to build on a very encouraging run in the Galway Plate this summer.

The eight-year-old mare is a two-time course winner at Listowel and steps up to three miles having been doing her best work at the finish, an excellent third behind another stablemate Western Fold in that dramatic contest at Galway.
