Drive-by horror at Vegas club

ON THIS day 29 years ago, rap fans were plunged into mourning after it emerged that hip-hop superstar Tupac Shakur had died after being shot.

The star, also known as 2Pac, was gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas and died six days later.

Born Lesane Parish Crooks in New York City in 1971, Shakur, relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1988.
