PAUDIE'S OUT OF MUNSTER FINAL AS HIS BAN UPHELD

PAUDIE CLIFFORD is out of Kerry's Munster final encounter with Clare in eight days' time.

The All Star forward decided to contest a proposed one-match suspension for his red card against Cork last weekend, at a hearing on Thursday night. Clifford (below) had been charged with 'behaving in any way which is dangerous to an opponent'.

The GAA upheld the proposed ban for Clifford's high tackle on Cork defender Mattie Taylor.
