OAP care scandal to be tackled by Oireachtas

THE health authority presiding over Ireland's nursing homes is to be hauled before an Oireachtas committee over an RTE expose into abuse at a number of facilities.
Taoiseach Micheal Martin admitted it was “unacceptable” and “very concerning” that nursing home operators would “allow” abuse of elderly residents.
