MY MERCY PERMISSION

PRINCE Harry has admitted he needed his wife Meghan's permission to visit war-torn Ukraine.

The British royal made a surprise visit to Kyiv yesterday morning after an invite from an organisation that supports people wounded by the conflict.

But Harry confessed: “I had to check with my wife and the British government to make sure it was OK”

Once both Meghan and UK security chiefs had given the all-clear, he was officially invited by Ukraine's leaders.

The Duke of Sussex was there with the Invictus Foundation to help promote the rehabilitation of soldiers left with life-changing injuries because of the battle with Russia.
