Man, 92, found guilty of rape and murder 58 years later

A MAN aged 92 has been found guilty of the rape and murder of an elderly widow in what is thought to be one of the oldest crimes to be solved by cold case detectives.

Ryland Headley was 34 when he broke into the home of 75-year-old Louisa Dunne in Bristol, UK in June 1967.

A woman was heard screaming hours before Mrs Dunne's body was found by neighbours early on June 28.

Despite recovering a palm print on a window and collecting thousands of prints from males in the area, cops were unable to identify a suspect.
