Brolly tips former Dubs boss as top FF Åras hope

GAA pundit Joe Brolly believes Jim Gavin would win the Irish presidency by “a landslide” - as a Fianna Fail minister said he would be a “fine” candidate.

Fianna Fail has not yet announced its candidate for the Aras, and the former Dublin football boss hasn't publicly confirmed if he is contesting.

However, it’s believed he could have the backing of Taoiseach Micheal Martin.
