Former MMA fighter claims he met God after psychedelic treatment

CONOR McGregor bizarrely claimed he met God and said Jesus placed a crown on his head after undergoing a psychedelic treatment.

The former UFC champion revealed he underwent Ibogaine treatment at a clinic called AMBIO in Tijuana, Mexico.

Researchers at Stanford Medicine say ibogaine, which is a plant-based psychoactive, safely and effectively reduces PTSD, anxiety, and depression.

Wider use of the drug has been limited due to regulatory barriers and concerns around cardiotoxicity.
