ISAK: TOON EXIT IS ONLY OPTION LEFT

FURIOUS Alexander Isak has broken his silence on his bitter bust up with Newcastle, accusing the Magpies of breaking their promise to let him leave.

Isak was named in the PFA Team of the Year last night but skipped the swanky ceremony in Manchester before releasing a statement on Instagram slamming the Toon for blocking his dream move to Liverpool.

And after going public about the breakdown in relations with Newcastle, the Swedish striker insisted there is no way back.

"I’m proud to be recognised by my fellow professionals with a place in the PFA Premier League Team of the Season for 2024/25," said Isak (above).

"First and foremost I want to thank my teammates and everyone at Newcastle United who has supported me along the way.

"I’m not at the ceremony tonight. With everything going on, it didn’t feel right to be there.
