RUUD VAN NISTELROOY is set for crunch talks over his future - warning that he needs to be "on the same page" as his employers.

The Leicester boss (top) could have the unwanted stigma of a relegation on his CV this weekend even before a ball is kicked at the King Power Stadium tomorrow.

After a horrendous run of two victories in 19 matches in charge, the writing has been on the wall for some time. It could be confirmed ahead of the visit of Champions-elect Liverpool - and the former Manchester United marksman knows his position will be under scrutiny.

But he says he knows what work needs to be carried out and is after some reassurance from his paymasters that he will be backed to deliver it.

He said: "I know what I want my future to look like. I'm very clear.
