HOLIDAY season is at its height and Irish stars are jetting off for summer breaks.

As the Irish summer teases us with its usual mix of sunshine and showers,

Ireland's celebrities are beating the grey skies and swapping them for golden beaches and glittering coastlines.

With passports in hand and designer sunglasses in place, here's where some of our favourite homegrown celebrities are jetting off to this summer.

Some, like Maura Higgins and Vogue Williams are always on holidays, visiting California and Spain already this year.

But others have favourite places they return to or only manage to get one big holiday due to work commitments.
