GOSDEN'S FIELD OF DREAMS
Irish Daily Star
|April 17, 2025
FIELD OF GOLD is as short as 5-2 favourite to give John Gosden a first 2,000 Guineas victory after running away with Newmarket's Craven Stakes.
The grey son of Gosden’s 2014 Guineas runner-up Kingman came from last to first under Kieran Shoemark to land the bet365-sponsored Group 3 trial by an impressive three and a half lengths from Wimbledon Hawkeye. William Hill initially cut Field Of Gold to 4-1 from 16-1 but were forced to shorten the colt's odds for the May 3 Classic after continued punter interest.
