Gardai called after row with school's sentry

GARDAI were called to a school in Westmeath after Enoch Burke ended up in a verbal row with a new security guard who was hired to keep him out.

Mr Burke, who has continued to show up at Wilson's Hospital School, was seen having a verbal war of words with the security guard on the premises yesterday morning.

And yesterday a High Court judge suggested that Mr Burke be made to pay the cost of the school’s security instead of paying fines to the State.

In a video posted to his own social media account, the security guard can be seen with his hands outstretched and preventing Mr Burke from moving towards the school building.

"I'm at work today. I'm here to attend at my workplace, this is where I work,” Mr Burke, who was dismissed from the school, said.
