1.20 Turners Novices' Hurdle (Grade 1) 2m5f I very much like the team Gordon Elliott sent over to Cheltenham and the way Elliott has not courted publicity meaning many of his better horses are still value in the races they are in, and a prime example is THE YELLOW CLAY in the Turners.

He didn't settle well enough in the Champion Bumper last year but fared best of those who raced here when runner-up at Punchestown on yielding ground, where he had William Munny and Romeo Coolio immediately behind.

While many think he handled heavy ground best when winning the Lawlors of Naas in January, I thought he hated conditions as much as any of them but his class shone through.
