IT IS craic agus nags in the Tenerife sun where pubs have launched ticket-only systems to manage crowds as Irish race fans fly to watch Cheltenham on TV.
The Star reported last week that throngs of Irish race fans were planning to descend on holiday islands in the Canaries.
Pub boss Tara Scarlata at McGuire's Irish bar in Costa Adeje on Tenerife introduced a ticketing system to cope with demand.
She told this paper that seats quickly sold out for Cheltenham week and said: "It's our favourite time of the year."
Tara, 40, has been in Spain for 10 years and worked in McGuires nearly four years.
