Electrician to appeal airport pass decision

AN electrician who lost his job at Dublin Airport after a garda superintendent raised concerns about "nefarious activities" is to challenge the revocation of his security clearance in the High Court.

Alan Burke, of Moyclare Close, Baldoyle, Dublin 13, was granted permission to contest a June 2025 Garda decision to withdraw the "green" clearance required for airport work.
