Easy to see why they're always Left standing..

I HAVE a better chance of winning the lotto than a left-wing government being formed in Ireland.
-
The simple reason is they keep falling out among themselves and voters are dubious about their economic policies.
That is the No1 reason why Fianna Fail and Fine Gael have been in power since the foundation of the State and we have never seen a full-blooded socialist-led government here.
Many other European countries like France and Spain have no problem electing socialists to power and then kicking them out if they don't deliver.
When it comes to the Left in Ireland they can't get out of the blocks because they are riddled by ideology and ego.
The biggest frustration Irish voters have when they go into the polling booth at the moment is they don't know what type of government they are voting for.
They can vote for a party but have no idea what the country will end up with and what coalition will eventually emerge. This is ridiculous and wrong.
