PEP GUARDIOLA has assured Phil Foden he is ready to do whatever it takes to nurse him back to health, both physically and mentally.

Manchester City midfielder Foden (left) has been left out of the England squad after sending a plea to Thomas Tuchel about needing a rest.

The 24-year-old has been a shadow of the player named FWA Footballer of the Year and PFA Player of the Year last season, and has admitted he has been plagued by an ankle injury and mental burn-out.
