'DIOGO'S IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER'

ARNE SLOT says that Liverpool will always carry Diogo Jota in their hearts as the Reds got back to action yesterday.

The Liverpool boss (top) insists they will take lessons from Jota himself in how they move on from the tragedy of losing the Portugal forward.

Liverpool beat Preston at Deepdale on a day which marked the passing of Jota, 28, who died alongside his brother, Andre Silva, in a car crash earlier this month.

The players wore black armbands while a highly-emotional rendition of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' was sung at the Championship club before a minute's silence (below).
