Cops set to drop Canaries money laundering raps

He was released on €100.000 bail in early November 2024.

And a few weeks later he narrowly missed out on winning the last Dail seat in the four-seater Dublin constituency after getting over 3,000 first-preference votes.

A Garda source said: "We expect the case against Gerry Hutch to be dropped very soon by the Spanish authorities.
