ALEXANDER BUBLIK has revealed his improved form has followed a “hangover” trip to Las Vegas.

- NEIL MCLEMAN

BUB'S HANGOVER CURE

Russian-born Kazakh Bublik says he is “super normal” compared to other “robots” on the ATP Tour.

The colourful world No.62 reached No.17 last year - but suffered burnout trying to get higher.

After six first-round defeats in his first eight events this year, Bublik (right) needed a break and took one in Sin City. On his return, he reached the final of a Challenger Event in Phoenix and won another in Turin before now reaching the French Open fourth round for the first time.

So what happened in Vegas did not stay in Vegas.
