ELVIS' former wife Priscilla Presley was the guest of honour at last night's Late Late Show Country Special.

She joined what producers called "the ultimate hoedown" alongside fan favourites Daniel O'Donnell, Philomena Begley and Nathan Carter.

Priscilla, 80, sat down with host Patrick Kiely and spoke about her marriage to the icon and how she will always protect The King's legacy.

She also told of her unease about her late daughter Lisa Marie's marriage to Michael Jackson and how she has found happiness again despite the tragedies of her life.

Surrounded by guitars on the Late Late couch, Priscilla said: "There was a lot of pressure. He was so famous and so popular.
