Wanderer Lew itching for action

LEWIS TEMPLE is “itching” to get onto the pitch with Bolton Wanderers following his move to the League One club.

The Bray man (above) has become Bolton's first signing of the January transfer window, with the English side paying an undisclosed fee to Shelbourne for the 20-year-old.

Temple has signed until June 2028, with the option of another year.

And he revealed that he had chats with Reds boss Joey O'Brien - a former Bolton player - before committing to the move.
