Justin Kersey, 39, and his uncle Joseph McCarthy, 60, wanted to create a unique experience for people to enjoy.

In 2019, they purchased two acres of raw land in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, for $169,000 (€194k) and began building eight Hobbit-inspired homes.
