Panto legend Twink blasts 'cold shoulder'

TWINK has hit out at RTE saying she was given the “cold shoulder” by the State broadcaster.
Adele King will return to the panto stage this Christmas as the Queen of the Fairies in Cinderella with Sammy and Buffy at the National Stadium, which also stars Ireland AM host Alan Hughes.
However, while she admits she is thrilled to be working alongside Alan and his husband Karl Broderick, Twink admits she feels let down by RTE - and, in particular, The Late Late Show.
She said she left a message for RTE Director General Kevin Bakhurst regarding her new panto show, but it went unanswered.
"I didn't even get the manners of a phone call back... Am I hurt? Oh yes, I'm hurt. Am I angry? No. I'm hurt. I am so hurt. I'm so hurt," she told the Sunday Independent.
