Mum in dock for 'egging on son in chaos'

A MOTHER accused of encouraging her son to take part in racially aggravated riots appeared in court alongside him yesterday.

Tracy Elizabeth Kane, 50, and her 30-year-old son Kelvin James Kane appeared in the dock together at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court.

Kelvin Kane, with an address at Dunclug Gardens in Ballymena, Co Antrim, is accused of a string of offences including riot, burglary, criminal damage and possession of Class C drug pregabalin.
