McAdam slams 'idiotic criminal behaviour' affecting kids
LORD Mayor of Dublin Cllr Ray McAdam has slammed a recent bout of arson attacks on playgrounds and facilities.
He says the criminal damage being done is robbing the local children of a safe place to play, and that is damaging communities - who often fight hard to get these facilities installed.
There have been a number of fires at playgrounds over the past few months, leading to play areas being closed until repairs can be carried out.
The most recent is the Kilmore playground in Oscar Traynor Park close to the Kilmore West Recreation Centre in Coolock.
