LITTLER GOES CRASHING OUT

EVEN a bye to the semifinal couldn't help Luke Littler get his first Premier League nightly win of the year.

GLASGOW MISS Luke Littler was beaten by Jonny Clayton

Littler won a record six nights on his way to the final last year, but is winless across the first three weeks this time out.

The back-to-back world champion was given a bye to the last four following the withdrawal of the unwell Michael van Gerwen in Glasgow last night.

But the Nuke was beaten 6-1 by Jonny Clayton - who then beat Gian van Veen 6-2 in the final.
