Lennon happy with the Cross he has to bear

SHANE LENNON knew what he was getting into when he agreed to take over as manager of Crossmaglen Rangers.

As one of the all-time greatest club teams in Ireland, Cross are almost always in the mix for county and provincial titles.

Only Cork's Nemo Rangers have more All-Ireland club crowns.

However, they were denied a three-in-a-row in Armagh last term when they lost to eventual winners Clann Eireann at the semifinal stage and they suffered early exits in Ulster to Trilick in 2023 and to Ballybay in 2022.
