LANDO GETS LUCKY
Irish Daily Mirror
|September 08, 2025
LANDO NORRIS avoided losing further ground to title rival Oscar Piastri thanks to McLaren's controversial team order at Monza.
A slow pit stop late in the race looked to have further derailed the Brit's championship charge.
But the Aussie complied with the instruction to let the Brit by and Norris finished second behind winner Max Verstappen.
Norris (below) received a smattering of boos as he stepped on to the podium but insisted it was only fair, having been in front of Piastri for the whole race up to that slow stop.
