IRELAND STARS RESTED AS REDS RING CHANGES

MUNSTER have rested Ireland stars Craig Casey and Tadhg Beirne for the Round 7 URC clash against the Ospreys at Dunraven Brewery Field.

Beirne stands down following a six-week run of starts, racking up 470 minutes in high quality games three of them for Ireland, a URC fixture against Stormers and two European clashes.

Casey has been involved week-on-week for seven games, starting four on the bench for three.

Changes flagged by a Clayton McMillan (right) last week as he noted: "The internationals are are going to have to have a break over the next couple of weeks. I'd probably get my head cut off if I decided that rest week was going to be the Leinster week."
