Small additions make all the difference
HOMEOWNERS don't need to break the bank in order to transform their living space, according to IKEA home style guru Philippa Teague.
Philippa, interior design manager for Ireland at IKEA, revealed some minor additions are all it really takes to level up a room.
And she shared her top 10 items in the home superstore which are popular with customers looking to make improvements on a budget, in a cost of living crisis. These gamechangers include cabinets, side tables, sofas, table nests and blinds.
The makeover maestro said the Swedish superstore prides itself on coming up with “smart solutions” to help customers maximise space for rock bottom prices.
DIFFERENCE
But does making a big difference in your home mean applying for a Credit Union loan?
Philippa explained: “Absolutely not. At IKEA, we're deeply committed to making fantastic design and brilliant functionality accessible to everyone, regardless of their budget or home size.
"We firmly believe a beautiful, functional home shouldn't cost the earth - literally."
It's a tongue-in-cheek reference to IKEAs sustainable “Buy back and resell service” which promises to help some budget-conscious - and waste-reducing - renovators.
The room revivalist said the scheme “is a fantastic way to unlock the value in your beloved IKEA furniture and put money back in your pocket.
