Eze grew up as an Arsenal fan and admitted he has felt like he was “on trial” on each of the four times he played at the Emirates for Crystal Palace because he was so desperate to sign for his boyhood heroes.

England star Eze said: “I remember the day | got released, my mum said a prayer that this reverse would happen.
