Singer joins band for iconic hits on amazing last day at Electric Picnic
DERMOT Kennedy surprised fans on the final day of Electric Picnic with a stunning performance alongside Noel and Mike Hogan of The Cranberries.
The Dublin singer wasn't scheduled to play this year but festival goers were in for a treat when he arrived on the main stage at 3.30pm.
The Cranberries stars united on stage for the first time in eight years as they performed the band’s most iconic songs alongside the incredible RTE Concert Orchestra.
Despite the early set time, the crowd was huge. Fans roared the lyrics to Linger as Dermot put his own spin on the famous tune.
Kings of Leon closed out the festival last night on the main stage, as they played an energising set from 10.30pm until midnight.
Before the US band rocked Stradbally, Becky Hill, Kingfisher and David Gray had concert goers dancing.
On Saturday, Kneecap played the main stage for the first time, as the festival's director said their performance was “a special moment” for Electric Picnic.
Melvin Benn also highlighted the performances of Chappell Roan and Hozier at Ireland’s largest music festival as “insanely good”.
