Gary first victim of Kinahan-Hutch feud 10 years ago

- EXCLUSIVE BY PAUL HEALY

A BROTHER of slain gangster Gary Hutch has been spotted paying his respects at his grave - as yesterday marked 10 years since his murder.

Convicted killer Derek “Del Boy” Hutch was seen at the grave of his brother in Glasnevin Cemetery yesterday, 10 years on from the brutal killing in Spain that ignited the Kinahan Hutch feud.

Volatile criminal Del Boy, 39, who was freed from prison in 2021 after serving time for manslaughter and armed robbery, was seen with a relative at the grave as the Hutch mob and its associates are still recovering from a decade of senseless violence that saw 18 men shot dead.

Del Boy himself was locked up in Dublin's Wheatfield prison during the time in which his brothers, father and other relatives became top targets for the Kinahan cartel following the Regency Hotel shooting in February 2016.

At the time, he was segregated from potential enemies during that dangerous period - as he served out his 16 year sentence for a May 2009 armed robbery, during which his pal Gareth Molloy was shot dead by gardai.

He was also serving time for the manslaughter of Barry McGuire, who he stabbed to death during an altercation on St Stephen's Day 2007.
