Comedian Amy: I had to slim just to survive

AMY Schumer has revealed she lost 3.5st "to survive" following treatment for a potentially fatal condition earlier this year.

The comedian and actress, 44, addressed speculation about her health in an online video.

In an Instagram reel filmed at home by her sixyear-old son, she said: "I didn't lose 30lb, I lost 50lb.

"Not to look hot, which does feel fun and temporary. I did it to survive.

"I had a disease that makes your face extremely puffy that can kill you, but the internet caught it and that disease has cleared.
