Charli xcx Wedding was just another cool day

POP music hot property Charli xcx says being a bride is “cool”.

The Apple singer, 33, wed musician George Daniel, 35, over the summer not once but twice - first in a low-key ceremony in East London, then at a celeb-packed party in Sicily.

But she admits marriage was not always a dream of hers.

“It's cool to be married,” she said about her recent nuptials. “I never really saw it for myself, to be honest.

“It was cool to feel so in love, and do it our way. We both kind of just wanted to not feel the pressures of the things you're supposed to feel when you get married.”

Waxing lyrical about The 1975 drummer George, Charli said: “He's the best. He really understands who I am at my best and at my worst.”
