WALSALL boss Mat Sadler described his side's 3-1 home win against promotion rivals BROMLEY as "really significant" after they stayed top.

Ben Krauhaus put Bromley ahead, but second-half goals from Daniel Kanu, Ryan Finnigan and Courtney Clarke halted the Ravens’ four-match winning run.

Sadler (top) said: “The win came from crosses from set-plays, but they're a tough nut to crack and we had to be at our best, as we were in the second half.”

Bromley missed out on going top; slipping to fifth. Ravens boss Andy Woodman said: “As much as we would have liked to have had a little pat on the back and hit the summit, it wasn't to be.”
