THE Christmas Day Dinner returns to Dublin for its 101st year feeding those most in need at what is a special but often difficult time of year.

More than 200 volunteers will provide a free Christmas dinner to 500 guests at the Royal Dublin Society RDS in Ballsbridge, with a further 5,500 takeaway meals prepared and distributed across Dublin.
